SCS Software has detailed five cities in American Truck Simulator’s upcoming Nevada Rework: Reno, Carson City, Elko, Winnemucca and Ely. The official preview describes rebuilt roads, scenery and freight locations, while reserving Las Vegas for a later dedicated spotlight.

Reno has been recreated from the ground up. SCS says the rework updates its road network and scenery while keeping familiar features from the original version. Its connections toward California and other Nevada destinations remain part of the city’s role in the freight network.

Carson City receives rebuilt streets and surroundings, with refreshed landmarks and locations. The preview highlights its position near the Sierra Nevada and routes toward Lake Tahoe, alongside its identity as the state capital.

Elko’s redesign emphasises the mining and farming industries associated with northeastern Nevada. New custom depots are part of the work, with improved pickup and delivery locations intended to give the city a more distinct freight identity.

Winnemucca gets an updated layout reflecting its real-world setting near the Humboldt River and a major east-west transport corridor. The surrounding valleys, mountains and desert form part of the updated scenery.

For Ely, the team is retaining important locations and the city’s remote atmosphere while raising the roads and scenery to its newer map standards. The preview also points to Route 50 and the city’s place in eastern Nevada.

Across the five locations, SCS describes new custom depots, refreshed company branding and smaller local details. The article is a development preview: it does not announce that the rework is already available or give a final release date.

Las Vegas is deliberately absent from this installment, so its future spotlight should not be inferred from these five city descriptions. Follow SCS’s official updates for the rework’s release plan and the remaining city coverage.
